Dear Love Lines Family,

A woman called in depressed.  She was cheating on her girlfriend and her girlfriend was also depressed  to the point of being suicidal.  The girlfriend was trying to overdose on meth.  We got permission to have a three way call with her girlfriend and us.  As we talked with her we were able to do a suicide profile on her and, in love, we led the girlfriend to Jesus.

Heidi, a missionary’s daughter, called us as 3:20AM from Colorado.  Her best friend of 28 years, since 7th grade, had committed suicide by shooting herself a couple of hours earlier.  Heidi was distraught and felt at fault for not recognizing any signs that her friend was going to kill herself.  She had talked with her just 2 days before it happened.  By the end of the call Heidi said she had the strength to get through this difficult time.  Jan, our counselor, was able to help her because she had also gone through the suicide of a close friend.  Heidi prayed to get filled with the Holy Spirit.

Karen wrote to us and said that she had called in at 3AM one morning and talked with the “sweetest woman” ever.  She had been very stressed out and couldn’t sleep.  After praying, she was able to calm down and go to sleep.  She said it was like God wrapped His arms around her and gave her a big hug.  She was so thankful!  We too are thankful for each and every one of you for praying for us because it is making a large difference over the phones.

We met with a local pastor and his administrator from St. Paul to help them start another phone line in St. Paul.  We are hoping they can be a branch center working with us.  They also want to start phone centers in 6 other countries.

Our October/November training class will be starting in one month.  God can use you to impact the lives of others like the testomonies I shared with you.  Let God use you 4 hours a week to reach out to others.

Join us to hear more testimonies at our October 7th banquet with Maurice Sklar, an international violinist.  he as a child prodigy, playing at 4 years old.  He uses his talent to glorify the Lord.  If you can’t attend the banquet yourself, consider giving a financial gift to make it possible for someone else to be there in your place.

Your support this month will help touch over 3,000 people who will be calling us.  Ask God what He would have you seed in this month.

In Christ’s Service,

Dan Morstad
