Prayer Requests from Israel

Israel has declared a state of emergency because of the escalation in fighting between IDF forces and Hizbullah guerrilla's. People here sense this is a repeat of the 1982 war in Lebanon. Please pray for both the Lebanese and Israeli civilians that are being harmed in the crossfire. There is a concern that Syria could be drawn into this confrontation, which would be very serious for Israel.

Pray for accuracy in media reporting and analysis, as well as fairness in commentaries by military and political experts. We've heard a good amount of slanted and misleading information being broadcast over the major international networks here in the Middle East.

Continue to pray for the increased threat of terror attacks within Israel's borders. As you may already know, a man was wounded 2 days ago, by his own bomb device, in a hotel on Saladine Street in East Jerusalem. The Lord obviously thwarted his intended plans to hit a target inside the city.
