Prayer

PLACE OF PRAYER

This spring the U.S. Congress will come back into session. As they do, and news out of Washington increases, rather than complaining about our President or congress we should follow the commands found in I Timothy 2:1,2: "First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in position of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way."

Let us also remember to pray for Jerusalem as instructed in Psalms 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee."

Finally, keep the Muslims in prayer through January and beyond, that they too might meet Jesus.
